★♫Even young Steven Brundidge aka “Yung Flash” was a standout at
everything he put his hands to. Born in Opelika, Alabama and raised in the
historic Tuskegee and Montgomery, Alabama he did his best to live up to the
prestige of the Tuskegee Airman; to soar above the clouds and over all
adversity. Given the name “Flash” by his high school football coach for
his awesome ability on the gridiron, a young Steven thought maybe the name
would stand out like his abilities and personality.
Flash went on to realize that he was called to music and the high life of
fame, but not selfishly but to put his home back on the map. Not being a
dope boy “drug dealer” or gangster, but a lover of what would soon be
his craft and the creativity and self expression that went into it, Flash
has made himself the perfect example of what an artist can and should be.
Though mesmerized by artist such as Nas, Jay-Z, UGK, and Cash Money; Yung
Flash himself felt the greater need to expose the world to the music in
him. With the inspiration that, "Music will always be my love, even without
all the money and fame she will always be my first love," Yung Flash went
on to promote himself as an artist. With very little knowledge of
promotion, and a small almost invisible fan base “Yung Flash began his
undying pursuit toward to the top.
Now with his first installment “Mind Ova Matta” ready to drop in summer
2008 Young Flash has positioned himself to be the hottest new artist this
summer. Under the Independent imprint “FlyBoy Music”, Flash hopes to
impose a new thought into the mind of those who know a little about
Alabama, “More than the civil rights movement will come to mind... Now
they'll think about that bold and brash young man who simply calls himself
"Flash".
